Ethical charter
1 - A foreword from the President and Chief Executive Officer
The Cave des Vignerons de Buxy was created as a result of the wine growers of the Côte Chalonnaise’s desire to combine their forces in the joint project of vinifying, ageing and marketing their wines together. The story began over 80 years ago in Buxy in 1931 and has since evolved into this exciting human endeavour based on the continual quest to improve the quality of our wines.
Today our objective is to ensure the development and sustainability of our cooperative business activity and that of our cooperative partners. In order to do so, our board of directors adheres to voluntary guidelines regarding the development of, and investment in, material and human resources in order to continue to adapt to consumer expectations and guarantee a sustainable environmental, social-societal and economic dynamic in our production area.
The concept of sustainable development is therefore at the core of all of our collective and individual decision making, from the vineyards to the cellars, and from the cellars right through to the wine glass. .
