The Vineyeard

The vineyards of the Cellars of the Winemakers of Buxy are located mainly on the two mountainsides of the Grosne river valley, between Saint-Gengoux-le-National and Cluny.

Their exposure to sun varies from south to south-east.

Made from 100% Gamay grapes.

The particularity of the Mâcon vineyards lies in the diversity of its soils and exposure to sun. Its grapes come from calcareous soil with high limestone content.

Aging Process

The wine is aged exclusively in vats, so as to preserve its fresh quality.

Tasting Notes

This wine’s sweet-bright pink colour will arouse your senses.

The fruit is dominant on the nose. This lively gourmet wine is fruity and pleasantly fresh in the mouth.

Accompaniment

This rosé is a simple wine. It goes well with numerous dishes, from spicy foods (couscous, paella, tex mex, Chinese cuisine…), to simple salads or meats and fish. This wine is ideal for summer dishes, salads, grilled meats, etc.

Advice

Best consumed within two years of its harvest.

Serving temperature between 10 and 12°C
