Montagny 1er Cru
MONTAGNY 1er Cru is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes.
The Montagny 1er Cru vineyards are located in an intermediary area and often grow up to the top of slopes. The altitude of the vineyards ranges between 240 and 385 meters. They are located in Montagny on an amphitheatre made of hills.
The hillsides are composed of calcareous clay, with high limestone content. The terrain is brittle and rich in rocks and pebbles.
Done exclusively in inoxidable vats.
Very complex aromas on the nose, successive fruity, floral and mineral hints, with particular menthol and lemon overtones. A full-bodied and rich wine with amazing finesse and delicate aromas.
Salmon or tuna tartar, codfish with mild spices, fish terrine, caramelised king prawns or sea food ravioli gratin, and delicate and refined dishes all pair perfectly with the finesse and richness of our Montagny 1 er cru. The charolais veal with its white sauce, Bresse poultry, and cheeses (comté, beaufort, emmental, goat) are also excellent accompaniments for this wine.
Best consumed eight years after harvest.
Serving temperature between 11 and 13°C.
