Bourgogne Passetoutgrain Rouge

Color: Red

Buissonnier range

The Vineyeard

Consists of one-third Pinot Noir and two-thirds Gamay. The grapes come mostly from old vines at the bottom of the hillsides. The parcels are located essentially between Buxy and St Gengoux le National.

Calcareous and siliceous soil in the Burgundy region. The soil is often covered in scree and rock, which allows the grapes to reach their full maturity.

Aging Process

Aged exclusively in vats.

Tasting Notes

A red colour with mauve and shiny glints. It opens with red fruit hints. Lightly tannic, this is a fresh, lively wine with touches of fruit cherry) and underbrush.

Accompaniment

Goes well with traditional stewed dishes (pot au feu, beef bourguignon, eggs en meurette), or light lunches with charcuteries (ham, terrines, tarts…). It can also accompany quiche, pizza, purées… and cheeses (Camembert, Brie…).
