Tasting Notes

Clos de Chenôves Red Burgundy has a fairly deep intense colour, which turns ruby with age. The nose has hints of vanilla blending in with the aromas of cherry and red fruits which are typical of Pinot Noir. It remains well balanced, soft and round in the mouth on well-balanced tannin

This wine goes amazingly well with grilled red meets, stewed dishes such as beef Bourguignon or eggs en meurette, or even with game. It is also an excellent accompaniment for a cheese platter consisting of Délice de Bourgogne, Bleu d’Auvergne and a cheese from l’Abbaye de Cîteaux.

Best consumed four or five years after its harvestServing temperature between 16 and 18°C.
